The problem
Reptile keepers buy dewormers, mite sprays, wound care and supplements from a market full of unlabeled bottles and forum folklore. The products exist; what is missing is a seller willing to put the dose, the use and the honest limits on the label. That is a positioning problem before it is a storefront problem.
What we built
A storefront built around the claim in the headline — reptile health, made simple. Product search sits in the header rather than buried behind a menu, because a keeper arrives knowing whether they need a mite spray or a wound treatment. Every product carries usage and dosing, and the surrounding pages explain the husbandry context instead of leaving it to a support email.
Design is deliberately restrained for the category: serif headings, a tight green palette, real whitespace. It reads like a health brand, not a pet-shop clearance bin — which is the entire pitch.
How we shipped it
Laravel and Inertia on our own infrastructure. No marketplace fees, no platform taking a per-order cut, no theme to fight when the catalog needs a field the theme did not anticipate.
Outcome
A specialist keeper-turned-seller has a storefront that matches the honesty of the products. The catalog is searchable, the labeling is the differentiator rather than an afterthought, and the whole thing is owned outright.
